Situated on 15 acres, the 300,000 sq.ft. AiNET CyberNAP™ is the largest standalone data center in the Maryland, Northern Virginia, Washington, DC area (the Region). It is located in Glen Burnie, MD, just north of Ft. Meade.  CyberNAP is latest addition to AiNET’s expanding fiber connectivity and data center presence (now more than 360,000 sq.ft.) in the Region.

AiNET CyberNAP - 300,000 sq.ft. Data Center

Feature Details:

Protected Power: Dual power feeds (2N @ 80MW each) from different independent substations deliver critical power. Fully redundant power systems (2N) are enhanced by AiNET’s patented power protection technology – an additional level of protection only available at AiNET data centers. CyberNAP will also feature AiNET MicroMetering™ for data center colocation customers.

Unmatched Power Density – More Than 25 kW/Cabinet: With demand for power density increasing, AiNET can meet needs greater than 25 kW/cabinet facility-wide.

Carrier Hotel: AiNET has leveraged its fiber construction arm and directly interconnected CyberNAP with core, northeast corridor fiber routes. Accordingly, CyberNAP is served by multiple independent carriers as well as AiNET’s own DWDM fiber network connecting multiple carrier-hotels and area rings. CyberNAP will be a major carrier hotel and point of carrier interconnection with access to hundreds of carriers and service providers in our meet me rooms (MMR) and colocated at the facility.

Concentric Security Zones: Security doesn’t end with our perimeter. Within the structure’s security envelope are: 24×7 security staffing and recording, infrared security cameras, physical and electronic threat protections and other security elements.

AiNET CyberNAP features three concentric security zones: Commercial (CSZ), Advanced (ASZ) and Ultra (USZ). CSZ features biometric access and hardened, physical security measures.  The ASZ and USZ offer specialized staffing, infrastructure, physical and communications security. ASZ will exceed NIST SP 800 requirements.  The USZ will meet NISPOM, DoD 8500, ICD 705.2/.3 (SCIF/DIACAP) requirements and exceed them with a number of specialized security packages and controls.

Full Range of Support Services: All AiNET data centers features a full range of professional support services from (24×7) remote hands to full application design, support and information assurance services. DoD 8570 personnel are available for all information security needs.

Access to AiNET SAN: AiNET operates a secure, highly advanced cloud storage service based upon the AiNET Peta10 SAN. The service features synchronous replication across multiple AiNET locations and is available to all data center colocation and wholesale tenants in AiNET data centers. The storage cloud allows highly scalable storage on an elastic usage basis.
